Mike Maulden 
Director, Business & Economic Development

Mike Maulden, Entergy Arkansas' Director of Business and Economic Development, is responsible for directing the company's private sector economic development initiative focused on recruiting new businesses to the state, assisting companies in their expansions, and supporting communities in developing themselves into places that are attractive to new and existing businesses. Under his leadership, Site Selection magazine has recognized Entergy as a top 10 Utility Economic Development Group in North America for 1998-99, 2001-2006, 2008-2014.


Becky Rogers 
Senior Administrative Assistant

Becky Rogers joined the Business and Economic Development Office in 2002 as the Senior Administrative Assistant.  Rogers provides executive level support to the director and his staff.  Rogers has been with the company since 1981, and has held several positions in various departments such as Purchasing & Stores, Nuclear, Sales & Marketing, and Customer Service. 


Sherry McDonnell, PCED
Program Manager, Community Development

As the Community Development Program Manager, McDonnell is responsible for coordination of Community Development programs and for new program design at Entergy Arkansas. Our Community Development programs are designed to assist communities improve their ability to attract and retain business and industry through organization, planning and preparation for economic development at the local level. McDonnell holds a BA in speech communication from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She is a graduate of the Community Development Institute and is a Professional Community and Economic Developer. She is a member of the Arkansas Economic Developers and the International Economic Development Council.


Joe Bailey 
Sr. Project Manager – Business Recruitment

Joe Bailey joined Entergy Arkansas' Business and Economic Development team in 2012 as a Sr. Project Manager.  His focus will be recruitment of new business to the Entergy Arkansas, Inc. service area and coordinating a response to the client's electricity needs.  Before coming to EAI, Joe spent ten years with the Arkansas Economic Development Commission with the last five years as the Director of Business Development. He received a Master of Public Administration degree and a Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Technology from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro.  In 2011, Joe was named “Economic Developer of the Year” by the Arkansas Economic Developers Association, the state-wide organization of economic development professionals.  He is a native of Camden, Arkansas and a graduate of Fairview High School. 


Clarissa McWherter, P.E.  
Sr. Project Manager – Business Recruitment

Clarissa McWherter joined Entergy Arkansas' (EAI) Business & Economic Development office in July of 2014 as a Sr. Project Manager. Her focus will be recruitment of new business to the Entergy Arkansas, Inc. service areas and coordinating a response to the client's electricity needs.  Before joining EAI, Clarissa spent over ten years with CenterPoint Energy as an engineer.  The last eighteen months was served as the Measurement Supervisor for Arkansas and Oklahoma.  She received a Master of Science in Engineering Management from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Oklahoma.  Clarissa is also a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Arkansas. She is a native Texan and grew up in Grapevine just outside of Dallas.


Chris Murphy  
Project Manager – Existing Business
Chris Murphy, Entergy Arkansas' Business Retention and Expansion Representative, works for EAI Business Development group.  Chris manages projects that assist existing industrial customers with retention needs and growth opportunities.  He is a 20 year veteran of Arkansas manufacturing, with the last 12 years spent in senior level management.  Chris is a certified 6 Sigma Green Belt. He is a graduate of Southern Methodist University with a BA in Economics.


Heather Hendrickson
Research Specialist, Business & Economic Development

Heather Hendrickson joined Entergy Arkansas' Business & Economic Development team in January 2008 as a Research Specialist and Analyst. Hendrickson's responsibilities include providing economic development assistance in the areas of Arkansas Site Selection Center, research, marketing, and geographic information system (GIS) mapping for Entergy-served communities. Hendrickson holds a M.S. in Community and Economic Development and a Graduate Certificate in Geographical Information Systems from the University of Central Arkansas as well as a B.A. in both Spanish and Political Science from Ouachita Baptist University.
